Registers

The Asbestos Register is a document that lists all identified (or presumed) asbestos in a workplace.

The Asbestos Register must record any asbestos or asbestos containing materials (ACM) that has been identified or is likely to be present at the workplace from time to time.

This would include the date on which the asbestos or ACM was identified, the location, type and condition of the asbestos or a statement that no asbestos or ACM is identified at the workplace or is likely to be present. EHS asbestos registers are produced in accordance with the requirements of the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission Code of Practice for the Management and Control of Asbestos in Workplaces [NOHSC:2018(2005)].
